Who Gives A Crap? Discovering the Value Within

Today, the delivery I've been eagerly awaiting from Who Gives A Crap finally arrived, bringing with it a wave of excitement and satisfaction.

I'm thrilled to share my experience with you.

Having come across their Facebook ads, I was intrigued by the notion that this company was making positive strides for the environment. Despite my initial interest, I never quite got around to placing an order. It wasn't until I hosted several guests in Sydney over the past few months, observing how swiftly my stock of toilet paper dwindled, that I decided it was time to give this brand a try. And so, last week, I placed my first order.

As the packages arrived at my doorstep today, I couldn't help but feel a peculiar enthusiasm about toilet paper—an odd sentiment, perhaps, but a genuine one nonetheless. I eagerly unwrapped each roll and box, marvelling at the vibrant and meticulously designed packaging.

Upon inspection, I was delighted to find the products to be of excellent quality. Naturally, I couldn't resist snapping a few photos for my blog, and thus began my deeper dive into the Who Gives A Crap brand.

Who Gives A Crap

Founded in 2012 by Simon Griffiths, Jehan Ratnatunga, and Danny Alexander, Who Gives A Crap was born from Griffiths' eye-opening experiences in East Africa, where he witnessed firsthand the dire sanitation conditions plaguing many communities. Motivated by the staggering statistic that over 2.3 billion people lack access to basic sanitation facilities, Griffiths felt compelled to take action.

The company's mission is twofold: to produce environmentally friendly paper products and to combat the global sanitation crisis. Their toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels are crafted from recycled paper or bamboo—an eco-conscious alternative to traditional tree-based paper products. Moreover, their products are free from harmful inks, dyes, and scents, making them safer for both consumers and the planet.

What sets Who Gives A Crap apart is their unwavering commitment to philanthropy. They pledge to donate 50% of their profits to support sanitation projects in developing countries, focusing on the construction of toilets and the implementation of hygiene education programs. This dedication not only improves sanitation and hygiene but also empowers communities, fostering dignity and well-being.

Since its inception, the company has experienced substantial growth, earning acclaim for its superior products, eco-friendly practices, and social impact initiatives. With a burgeoning global customer base, Who Gives A Crap continues to make strides in its mission to effect positive change.

I was particularly impressed by their philanthropic endeavors, notably their pledge to donate half of their profits—a level of commitment rarely seen in corporate philanthropy.

This solidified my confidence in the brand, and I'm eager to spread the word about their commendable efforts.

If you're considering making the switch to more sustainable paper products, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Who Gives A Crap a try. Not only will you be investing in high-quality goods, but you'll also be contributing to a cause that's making a tangible difference in the world.
