It's fascinating to delve into the diverse perspectives on meditation. I recently posed a question to fellow meditation enthusiasts during one of our online sessions: "What is meditation to you, and why?" I requested responses in just one word, coupled with an explanation.
For example, "meditation is a pillow for me because I sleep so much better since I started meditation." A lot of people suffer from insomnia because they carry too many thoughts and it's challenging to relax and fall asleep. So when one clears the mind, it can improve one's sleeping patterns as well as the actual sleep quality.
So, here are some responses from our meditation community, each offering a unique glimpse into the personal impact of this practice. It's heartening to read them, especially for those familiar with the transformative power of meditation.
