As I posted the Guchujang sauce recipe, I thought it'd be nice to put this simple bibimbap recipe as well to go with the sauce.
This is not a traditional way of doing Bibimbap but hey, after all, it's all about mixing it all. :-)
This recipe is for anyone who would like a quick meal that is still tasty and healthy, in that case, this is it!
The reason this is so simple is because you can use the ready-made salad mix. Depending on what you like, you can choose the leafy mix according to your liking.
Simplest & easiest Bibimbap ingredients
A bag of baby leaf blend (or Leafy mix of your choice)
Cooked rice
Egg
* If you don't have a rice cooker, then, you will have to cook the rice separately.
* You can add extra mushrooms, carrots, beetroot, etc. if you like.
* Please check the Guchujang sauce recipe at the bottom of the page if you are not sure.
Simplest and easiest Bibimbap recipe
First, cut the leaf mix into smaller bite-sized bits and pieces. I find it easier to mix this way and also easier to eat as they have been cut into small pieces.
Prepare eggs.
Put rice into a bowl and add the leaf mix.
Add the egg. (one egg per serving, but feel free to add more if you like.)
According to your taste preference, you can add as much or as little Gochujang sauce as you like, to make it as spicy or as mild as you prefer.
You mix it all together and enjoy!
