Today was the absolute worst day ever

And don't try to convince me that

There's something good in every day

Because, when you take a closer look,

This world is a pretty evil place.

Even if

Some goodness does shine through once in a while

Satisfaction and happiness don't last.

And it's not true that

It's all in the mind and heart

Because

True happiness can be obtained

Only if one's surroundings are good

It's not true that good exists

I'm sure you can agree that

The reality

Creates

My attitude

It's all beyond my control

And you'll never in a million years hear me say that

Today was a good day

It's a fantastic example of how altering our perspective can entirely transform our understanding.

It reminds us that the way we perceive things greatly influences our feelings and experiences. So, when life seems challenging, remember the power of perspective!


However, I do understand how not-so-easy it is to change our perspective.

When the mind is filled with negativity, no matter how hard you try to be grateful and positive, it can seem like a futile and meaningless attempt. This is where learning the tool to let go of your own thoughts comes in handy. Understanding how our mind accumulates thoughts and attachments, and learning the step-by-step method to declutter that emotional and psychological baggage, naturally shifts your perspective.


Just as we go through our daily activities and, at the end of the day, cleanse ourselves to stay clean and healthy, there are times when you might feel like you can't be bothered to take a shower. However, you do it anyway because you know you will feel clean and refreshed afterward. Similarly, making cleansing your mind a daily habit, like taking a shower, will make it much easier to maintain a positive and open perspective. This will, in turn, help you enjoy your life so much better, much like the difference in meaning when you read the writing from top to bottom and bottom to top.


Let's strive to keep not only our bodies clean and healthy, but also our minds clear and happy!
